Derrell James is Executive Vice President and Group President of ACS ITO Solutions. In this capacity he is responsible for the ongoing ITO organization as well as the continuing growth of an ACS service offering that comprises nearly 25 percent of ACS’ business, contributing $1.4 billion in revenue annually. ACS’ ITO Solutions Group serves thousands of clients around the world in industries including communications, education, energy, financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retail, and transportation and travel.

Previously, James served as Senior Managing Director of ACS’ Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) Solutions in the Commercial Solutions Group.

James has more than 20 years of experience in technical, network services, and infrastructure services management. He joined ACS in 2006 from EMC, where he served as Senior Vice President of Technology Solutions. In this role he led an organization of 4,500 people and was responsible for all pre- and post-sales solutions and execution. Prior to EMC, he was at Perot Systems, where he served as Vice President of the Global Infrastructure Services Division. In this capacity, he led a 3,500-employee organization that had broad responsibilities spanning network and technical systems management and support, and disaster recovery services. James also was responsible for Infrastructure Business Development, including the channels and partners associated with infrastructure services, and account relationships. James began his career at EDS, where he served eight years as a systems engineer.
