Joseph Doherty is Executive Vice President and Group President of ACS Government Solutions. He is responsible for the operation and continuing growth of a group that supports more than 1,700 state and local government entities and a growing list of U.S. federal government clients.

ACS Government Solutions is the largest provider of BPO services in the government sector and a national leader in state healthcare program administration.

 
Prior to joining ACS, Doherty spent 10 years in key leadership roles at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). Most recently, Doherty was president of the Americas Division of CSC’s Global Outsourcing Services Group. There  he was responsible for leading:

• Outsourcing strategy in the Americas
• A multi-billion-dollar operation
• More than 17,000 employees around the globe

Doherty also served more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy as an enlisted computer systems specialist and a Naval Communications Officer.

Doherty holds the following degrees:

• An MBA from Strayer University
• A BS from the University of Maryland
