John Polk is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Community and Youth Services business within the ACS Government Solutions Group. He is responsible for operations in 15 child support collections and disbursements projects that process more than half of all child support payments in the U.S.


Previously at ACS, Polk implemented daily operations of the Ohio Child Support Payment Central Project, one of the nation’s largest State Disbursement Units (SDU). He has also managed six other SDU projects, and he was instrumental in developing the line-of-business approach to image-based remittance processing and a patented electronic payment processing solution.



Before joining ACS in 1992, Polk was Administrator of the Child Support Enforcement Program in the Texas Attorney General’s Office.



He received an MBA in Management from the University of Texas at Arlington and a BA in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University
