As Vice President of Operations for Child Support and Transaction-Based Services within ACS’ Government Solutions Group, John Polk is responsible for the operations in 15 child support collections and disbursements projects that process more than one-half of the child support payments in the country.
Previously at ACS, Polk was responsible for the implementation and daily operation of the Ohio Child Support Payment Central Project, one of the largest State Disbursement Units (SDU) in the country. He has also managed six other SDU projects and was instrumental in the development of the line of business approach to image-based remittance processing and a patented electronic payment processing solution.
Before joining ACS in 1992, Polk served as an Administrator of the Child Support Enforcement Program in the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Polk received an M.B.A. in Management from the University of Texas at Arlington and a B.A. in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University
