With more than 22 years experience in Medicaid and Medicare, Richard Williams is responsible for overseeing product research and development strategy for ACS’ state healthcare programs. Currently, Williams leads the development and implementation of various state electronic health records programs.
Williams also has directed the development of ACS’ sophisticated analytical software, QueryPath. Prior to joining ACS eleven years ago, Williams led the re-design and development of the industry-leading fraud and abuse detection software. He also led the planning and implementation of 16 Medicaid and Medicare Decision Support System (DSS) installations.
A recognized thought leader in Healthcare Analytics, Williams has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and economics from Randolph Macon College, and is working toward completing his Masters degree in Business from Notre Dame College in Baltimore, Md.
