Dave Amoriell is Executive Vice President and Group President of the ACS Transportation Solutions Group, a position he assumed in February 2009. In this capacity, he enables government agencies in more than 30 countries address transportation challenges through revenue collection and regulation compliance services.

Amoriell joined ACS after a successful career with IBM and Lockheed Martin as a senior executive.

Immediately before joining ACS, Amoriell served as General Manager for IBM where he helped grow the company’s Federal sector portfolio which included critical Homeland Security elements in the State & Local marketplace. As General Manager, his business responsibility grew from $630 million to more than $1.1 billion in revenue two years later. Key programs included business transformation programs for the department of Homeland Security to systems integration programs within the Department of Defense, to business and IT outsourcing programs at the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services, to business consulting and software integration programs at the Internal Revenue Service.

Dave’s prior positions also included, Vice President responsible for the Federal Homeland Security, Environment, Transportation and Intelligence programs within the IBM Global Services Public Sector. In addition, he had overall responsibility for the U.S. Customs modernization program within the department of Homeland Security to ensure the successful implementation of this critical $3+ billion program.

Amoriell earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Math from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he graduated magna cum laude. He also on the board and executive committee of the Professional Services Council.
