Dave Amoriell is Executive Vice President and Group President of the ACS Transportation Solutions Group, a position he assumed in 2009. In this capacity, he helps government agencies in more than 30 countries address:

• Address transportation challenges
• Enhance revenue collection
• Improve regulatory compliance.

Amoriell joined ACS after a successful career with IBM and Lockheed Martin as a senior executive.

He served as General Manager for IBM, where he helped grow a Federal sector portfolio that included critical Homeland Security elements in the State & Local marketplace. As General Manager, he nearly doubled revenue, to more than $1.1 billion, in two years. Key programs included:

• Business transformation programs for the Department of Homeland Security
• Systems integration programs for the Department of Defense
• Business and IT outsourcing programs at the Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services
• Business consulting and software integration programs at the Internal Revenue Service

Amoriell’s prior positions also include Vice President of IBM Global Services Public Sector. He was responsible for programs in:

• Federal Homeland Security
• Environment
• Transportation
• Intelligence

In addition, he had overall responsibility for Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Customs modernization program. He ensured the successful implementation of this critical $3-billion program.

Amoriell holds a BS in Computer Science & Math from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is also on the Board and Executive Committee of the Professional Services Council.
